Befitting its luxurious bayside suburb, Elwood House is a curation of refined natural elements, modern neutral tones and green living innovation. Designed by renowned architecture firm, Woods Bagot, the four-storey property consists of 30 oversized apartments with sweeping open spaces, abundant natural light. Its 6-star energy rating a result of innovations such as power sockets to the car spaces, double-glazed windows and rooftop solar panels.

The modern sense of luxury in Elwood House is felt strongly in the rich textures and unique materials, applied with precision and thought. Rough concrete spans the walls and soffits of the balconies, grey stone and bronze features in the kitchen joinery and fittings, greenery drapes over the balconies to soften the aesthetic, and the exterior is a robust mix of off-form weathered concrete and hand-made Pedersen bricks from Denmark.

This graceful low-lying building was created with respect to the site’s community hall history, and to reflect the suburb’s refined, natural aesthetic.
