Millswyn Residences
2018
Rob Mills Architects
Overview
Presenting eight signature Rob Mills designed residences crowned by two irreplaceable penthouses.
A commitment to craftsmanship without compromise; from the monumental Isernia limestone façade, three metre plus ceilings and exquisite finishes including Italian Calcutta marble and Royal Oak floors, all elements have been carefully considered to bring together a unique offering in arguably Melbourne’s most prestigious and sought-after location.
These residences have been built in the grounds of Millswyn Court, a historic Victorian Italianate mansion built in 1886 for one of South Yarra’s original settlers, James Gatehouse.
In recent decades Millswyn Court has been used as the Albany boutique hotel and a 1960s motel-style three-storey construction which recently closed and was demolished to build the residences.
