The Sisters

Overview
Maintaining the symmetry of its unique location, this residence forms one half of the iconic property known as “The Sisters”. Capturing the panoramic views of Sullivan’s Bay, its low-profile, open-plan design balances comfort with a sense of nature, allowing it to sit comfortably among the rolling green lawns and abundant treelines.
Subtle design motifs set this project apart: the ground floor ceiling reveals a pattern mapped accurately to the night sky’s Southern Cross. A mark of engineering flair, the carefully calculated installation of timber battens, fixed to the substrate, creates a delightful criss-cross pattern of harmonious alignment.
The strength of the build can be seen in the extensive use of Blackbutt inside and out. Masterfully graded and installed, this hard-wearing Class-1 timber retains its seamless, ‘expensive’ look while enduring the naturally wearing effects of coastal living. Truly a masterwork of contemporary coastal living.
