South Yarra Residences

Overview

A dignified heritage building on the edge of Domain, transformed into two contemporary 460 square meter apartments, designed by the award-winning Rob Mills Architects and landscaping designed by Paul Bangay.

The residences differ in style but both retain uncompromised elegant design. The red brick Georgian facade of the building has been retained with full operable louvered shutters. On the opposing side sleek contemporary blackened steel and glazing structure allow the residences to flood with south westerly light.

The upper level residence features polished plaster walls and 4 meter vaulted polished plaster ceilings. Dark Oak timber and library shelving throughout the study brings a defined warmth. Solid black and white veined marble slabs are used on bathroom floors and walls, meticulously textured oil rubbed bronze European hardware and luxurious dark deep floor coverings.
